ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS
SCOTT CLARK
My creativity revolves around three items: painting, photography and music. I typically focus all of my efforts on one of them at a time, but I have been involved with each of these mediums in different ways the past twenty plus years. When I am not painting, I can be found with my camera snapping photos. If I don't have my camera or a paintbrush in my hands, I'm probably holding my bass and playing music. You know what they say about idle hands.
I'm a former elementary art teacher turned elementary school principal and I absolutely love my profession. The young students that surround me on a daily basis provide me with the energy and focus to stay active and creative. My wife, Julie, provides me with the encouragement, inspiration and support (even when she has to wait patiently for me to set up my camera for the perfect shot) to continue my passion for creating.
